Pascal Ferstl
Pascal Ferstl has been working in the field of intellectual property for more than eight years. Over the course of this time, he has supported a wide range of clients – from SMEs and international corporations to universities and research institutions – in the strategic protection of their intellectual property.
His practice focuses on drafting patent applications as well as representing clients in grant and opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), particularly in the areas of automotive engineering, information technology, physics, and photovoltaics.
He studied physics with a specialization in solid-state physics at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, where he also earned his doctorate in the field of surface structure determination of adsorbate and low-dimensional oxide structures."
Outside of work
In his free time, he enjoys family and friends, running, and experimenting in the kitchen.
