Andreas Keil has more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property. As an in-house patent attorney and Head of Intellectual Property at an international corporation, he built and managed IP portfolios closely aligned with business objectives. He has also supported numerous clients as an independent attorney across a wide range of technologies.

Drawing on his in-house experience, he has extensive knowledge of German employee invention law.

At HKW, he focuses on drafting patent applications and representing clients in grant and opposition proceedings, with a particular emphasis on medical devices.

He studied physics with a specialization in semiconductor physics at the Technical University of Munich and earned his doctorate in experimental quantum optics.
